Mini Sessions – information guide
WHAT ARE MINI SESSIONS?
Well, in a nutshell, a mini session is a photography session that typically lasts about 20-30 minutes and is offered at a reduced price for consumers. These sessions typically come with limited package options to choose from.
It’s the perfect way for new clients to get a taste of my photography style before booking a full session. They are also ideal for “themed” photos throughout the year marking special events and milestones.
My goal is to keep it simple and get as many posed and natural looking shots as possible.
Mini sessions have many great perks. For starters, I like to think of the mini session as a picture refresh. This is the perfect time to get some good quality professional images of your family, little ones and schoolkids that will “refresh” the pictures that you currently have hanging on your walls.

Who are mini sessions for?
Mini sessions are great for clients who are busy and don’t have a lot of time for a full photo session or just want a few updated photos for gifts
Can we choose our own location?
No, mini sessions are organised in specific locations dependent on the theme. If you would like a shoot at a specific location, please book a full photo session.
Is there a limit to the number of people?
Mini sessions are limited to families of 6 or smaller. If you have a larger family, I recommend hat you book a full session
How many outfit changes do you allow?
There is not sufficient time during a mini session to allow for outfit changes. If you would like to have multiple clothing “looks”, please book a full session.
When will our sales consultation take place?
Your sales consultation will be scheduled for 14-21 days after your session.
How do we reserve our session
Sessions are booked on a first come, first served basis. All bookings require full payment to hold your spot. You can pay via cash or EFT.
